| BUC Universal Healthcare Rally |

MOSES member Birmingham Unitarian Church (BUC)
hosted a powerful rally in support of Universal Health Care
and the Health Care for Michigan Ballot Initiative.
Led by Core Team Chair, Pat Hammer, the team at BUC
turned out 80 people to support universal health care.
At the rally, State Rep. Aldo Vagnozzi (37th District, Oakland County)
pledged support for the Ballot Initiative and the work of
crafting legislation after it passes.
The rally also included a panel of experts who spoke on the ballot initiative from the perspectives of labor, business, insurance, medical, and other key stakeholder groups.
This event helped get out the word and the facts about the ballot initiative
and boosted support for the measure amongst the key
suburban population of Oakland County. |
